MMB – More New Updates!

Hi Everyone,

I hope you are walking into your Monday feeling refreshed and ready to go!  It’s hard to believe we are now in the middle of June and we’ve been SIP since the middle of March!  There is good news from Alameda County!  Beginning this Friday, June 19th, outdoor fitness and outdoor dining will be opening up!  Yahoo!  This is fantastic news and I’m very excited to start offering small group exercise again outside!  Here is the link to the Alameda County Updates:  http://acphd.org/media/585907/press-release-2020.06.12.pdf

Based on the survey I sent out a few weeks ago, most of you would prefer having a hybrid of fitness options – both in-person and on-line.  I think that’s awesome!  It’s the best of both worlds – “brick it” or “click-it”!  However, please know that I will be experimenting and figuring things out as we go along to best accommodate everyone. 

For Curbside Fitness, please note that I will only be able to accommodate 8 people in order to have SD and it will be RSVP only one week at a time.  If the curbside classes fill up, never fear, there is always on-line! (Smile)  Classes outside will also look differently from what you remember before, as everyone will be at their own “station” with their own gear.  If you have dumbbells from home that you’d like to bring, you are welcome to do so.  You’ll also want to bring your own mat, towel, and water bottle. Any gear I offer will be sanitized and cleaned before each use. 

For Boot Camp, I need to get a hold of Valley Bible Church and find out if I can start using the parking lot.  At this point, the church has not allowed anyone into the building and all services have been on-line.  Until I get clarification about Boot Camp, I would like to offer a Park Fitness class on Saturday mornings, since it’s summer anyway and beautiful outside! 

Please read the following schedule of classes for this week and next.  I would really love and appreciate your feedback about this coming Saturday June 20th, whether you would prefer Boot Camp On-Line at 7:30am or Park Fitness at 8:30am?  Also, please let me know your thoughts and feedback about Tuesday and Thursday’s Cardio Core/Cardio Fusion On-line vs Cardio Core/Cardio Fusion Curbside and and the timing for both options.

Proposed schedule for week of June 15th:

Tuesday PM – Cardio Core On-Line 6pm

Wednesday AM – Barre Blend 8AM (I’m going to try this time frame again now that it’s summer and internet traffic should be lighter)

Thursday PM – Cardio Fusion On-Line 6pm

Saturday AM – Boot Camp On-Line and Park Fitness?  Maybe Boot Camp On-Line 7:30am to 8:15am and Park Fitness 8:30am to 9:15am?

Monday AM – Park Fitness 8am (outside and SD)

Monday PM – Barre Blend On-Line 4pm (Note:  I have a Boy Scout Board of Review at 6pm, so I can only teach at 4pm)

Tuesday PM – Cardio Core On-Line 5:30pm & Cardio Core Curbside at my studio 6:30pm

Wednesday AM – Barre Blend On-Line 8am

Thursday AM – Park Fitness 8am (outside and SD)

Thursday PM- Cardio Fusion On-Line 5:30pm and Cardio Fusion Curbside at my studio 6:30pm

Saturday AM- Boot Camp On-Line 7:30am & Park Fitness 8:30am
