MMB – Moms’ Fit Club & Kid Fit
I hope you are feeling great as you are kicking off your week. I know many of you have been away on vacation during spring break, so I hope you had a fabulous time! It looks like many of you were out skiing and hiking, so that’s awesome! For those of you who were local and were able to make it out to class, you guys rocked it! We’ve been doing Sgt. Ken’s obstacle course work outs on Saturdays for the Spring Fitness Challenge, so you don’t want to miss out! It’s amazing how hard you can work with just using your own body weight! I think there’s a message there – less is more! I think we over complicate our fitness. Keep it simple and work your guts out!
Yesterday was also Running Boot Camp and it was a fantastic turn out with veterans and newbies. This is one of my most favorite formats to teach and if you’ve not been to one of my Running Boot Camps, you are missing out! We incorporate running with a 5K distance combined with strength, core, and speed drills. Here’s a photo from Sunday:

Summer Kid Fit 2017!
Jen Allan Fitness is offering a summer fitness program for 1st through 6th graders.
When? 5-1, 5-12, 5-15, 5-22, 5-31, 6-2, 6-5, 6-12, 6-23, 6-26, 7-3, 7-17.
How often? Once a week – combo of M, W, & F am
What? A combination of fun games and fitness incorporating strength, cardio, and core!
Cost? Prepaid class cards are used like punch cards – you pay when you participate.
$45 = 4 classes, $80=8 classes, $115=12 classes.
Cards can also be used for Moms’ Fit Club or any other 30 minute Jen Allan Fitness Class at Valley Bible Church.
Time? 9:30am – 10:00am
Where? Creekside Park 5601 W. Las Positas Pleasanton

Moms’ Fit Club – 2017
Details: This is a 30-minute class incorporating cardiovascular drills, strength training, core, balance, and flexibility. This program is for beginners through intermediate, but advanced exercisers are welcomed too. Modifications will be demonstrated to either ramp up or ramp down exercises to meet your fitness needs.
Dates: 5-1, 5-12, 5-15, 5-22, 5-31, 6-2, 6-5, 6-12, 6-23, 6-26, 7-3, 7-17
Time: 10:00 to 10:30am (following Kid Fit from 9:30am to 10:00am)
Where: Creekside Park in Pleasanton – 5601 W. Las Positas Blvd

How is this program special? At the beginning of the program, you’ll have your weight, BMI, and body fat% measured. You’ll receive a work out ideas sheet so you can start incorporating fitness into your lifestyle. Every month, we’ll measure again to see how you are doing and how much you are reducing!
