Green Smoothie Recipes
As an advocate of green eating and encouraging my clients to eat more of a plant based diet, here are a few smoothie recipes that taste delicious and are super healthy! Your kids will grow to love them too, once they get past the green pond scum looking factor! Ha Ha!
These recipes are taken out of the book, “Green Smoothie Revolution” by Victoria Boutenko
These recipes are for the beginner who is just starting out with green smoothies. The book has additional recipes for the more adventurous who want to experiment with more exotic ingredients.
You can use a basic blender, but a VitaMix is ideal. I also encourage you to come up with your own combinations and have fun experimenting.
One note: Be careful with apple in a regular blender because the consistency is a bit thick and not as smooth as a VitaMix blend.
