Blog – Final Countdown! Last Week Winter Fitness Challenge!

Hi Everyone!

I hope you are enjoying your weekend and this glorious weather we are having!  I’m going to make this blog short and sweet since I’m taking time out during the Super Bowl to write it.  I wanted to say how awesome it’s been doing so much fitness and life with so many of you these past few weeks!  I love seeing your committed sweaty faces and bodies in both on-line and in-person classes!  There are also some new faces too!  If you see Miranda, Sandi, Reena, Michelle and Drew, make sure to say hi and welcome them into the Jen Allan Fitness Community!  Together…..we can do great things!

Announcements and Reminders:

  1.  Last Week of Winter Fitness Challenge.  If you are tracking your calendar and food logs for the Nutrition Challenge, please fill them out all the way up to 2/13/21.  Please finish them up and send them to me.  I’d like to schedule a phone call with each of you to find out how your journey has gone the last 6 weeks.  What’s worked, what’s not worked, where have you succeeded, where have you fallen short?  In terms of the fitness portion, please weigh and measure yourself again this coming Saturday and I’ll compare numbers from the first week to the last.  I’ll also add up all of your fitness tests and compare and contrast week 1 to week 6 and see who has improved the most!  So, it’s game on time!  Let’s stay focused on clean nutrition, consistent work outs and a big finish to the Winter Fitness Challenge this coming Saturday, Febuary 13th!  Also, wear something Valentine’s festive!   Something pink, red, hearts, have fun getting dressed up!  I’ll announce the winners on the 2/15/21 blog and what the prizes will be!  So, let’s stay focus and get it done!


  1. New Class Offering!  Barre Blend & Beyond!  This will be a very special class that I will offer once a month for free.  What??  Yes!  Since I am a Christian, I will be offering this class as a way to blend in Yoga, stretching, and core work with some Christian worship music, scripture, prayer, and praise to the Lord Jesus.  All are welcome to join this on-line class format.  You do not have to be a Christian to attend.  In fact, I greatly encourage seekers and all faiths!  I will be offering this first class this coming Sunday, February 14th at 2:30pm.  Yes, on Valentine’s Day!  I’m throwing out the time of 2:30pm as a trial, so if you have thoughts about the time going forward, please let me know.  Let’s spend 45 minutes getting our heads, hearts, and spiritual alignment right together in this unique way! I’ll send out a reminder before class.  If you are interested, you can text ore-mail me and I’ll send out the link.

Monday:  Park Fitness Dublin – Shannon Community Park 10:15am & Cardio Core On-Line 5:30pm

Tuesday:  Cardio Core Curbside 5:30pm Max of 9 people.

Wednesday:  Barre Blend On-Line 12noon & Cardio Fusion On-Line 6pm

Thursday:  Park Fitness 9:15am & Cardio Fusion Curbside 5:30pm Max of 9 people.

Friday:  Barre Blend On-Line 6:45am

Saturday:  Boot Camp On-Line 7:30am & Park Fitness 8:40am  6th Winter Fitness Challenge

Sunday:  Barre Blend & Beyond On-Line 2:30pm
