Hi Everyone,

I hope you all had a fabulous weekend!  It was so wonderful being able to be outside and breathe clean air again!  Have you noticed how we’ve all changed our daily behaviors in how we check every day for the AQI?  What?  Did you ever imagine this would be our daily reality in the Bay Area?  Let’s just say that 2020 has been a year of many first time experiences, right?!

Announcements, reminders, and questions:

  1. If you are interested in attending Park Fitness in the mornings, but aren’t able to make an 8am class, please reach out to me and let me know what times would work for you. 
  2. If you are interested in attending Barre Blend On-Line but the times offered don’t match with your schedule, please reach out to me and let me know what would work better for you.
  3. NEW PE PROGRAM FOR MIDDLE SCHOOLERS!  Hey everyone, in speaking with a few parents, it seems that there is a need to help get our kids moving and off screen time.  Can you relate?  If you have a middle schooler and would like to see them get out and move, then I have a proposition for you! 

Park Fitness for Middle Schoolers – Approximate ages:  11-14

Tuesdays and Thursdays 2pm to 2:45pm

$95 pre-paid card per month – 8 classes

Beginning Tuesday, September 30th

Maximum 10 students

Class will be mobile with social distancing and will incorporate stretching, calisthenics, light running, core work, and some fun games woven in.  This will not be a traditional PE program with team games like kickball, flag football, or tag, but will instead focus on individual exercises that will help to strengthen your child’s cardiovascular endurance, muscular strength, core, agility, and flexibility.

Class will meet at the end of the Sport Park off Parkside Drive in the parking lot close to the playground and volley ball court.  (Not the parking lot by the skate park) 

If you are interested in signing your child up for this class, please e-mail me and I will send out a liability form.  Payment is due on or before the start of class.  I accept Venmo, Zelle, PayPal, Square, check, or cash.

I am super excited to offer a PE program for middle schoolers and I love getting kids to move!

Saturday:  Boot Camp On-Line 7:30am & Park Fitness 8:40am
