I hope you are all having a great weekend! Great work this past week with good size classes in both on-line and in-person. Welcome to Miranda and Reena who are both new to the Jen Allan Fitness community!
The 3rd Winter Fitness Challenge was this past Saturday and it was tough, but you guys did it! After doing the four fitness tests, it was all about tough compound resistance, a myriad of hybrid burpees, and military style obstacle course – wahoo! Park Fitness was also tough with lots of legs, legs, legs! Lots of interval runs with 10slow/10 fast, progressive runs, cardio drills, box jumps, resistance tubing combos, 4:2:4 push-up counts and more! Well done everyone. Now, let’s keep it going! Transformation is right around the corner for many of you! Let’s keep the Nutrition Challenge going too! Commitment and consistency is the secret sauce to seeing results, so let’s get to it!
Announcements and Reminders:
- Barre Blend Trial Schedule: Last week I sent out a survey to a few of you who have attended Barre Blend because I need to switch up the schedule to make it work for more people. For this week, I am going to try moving back the lunchtime schedule on Wednesdays to 12noon instead of 11:30am. So, Barre Blend On-Line will be 12noon to 12:45pm on Wednesday and Friday morning at 6:45am to 7:30am. Let’s give this schedule a try this week and see how it goes. If you are interested in attending, please let me know! I’ll also send out my class reminder e-mails.
- Rain this week: There is a good chance that my curbside classes on Tuesday and Thursday will need to move to on-line due to rain. I will assess as we get closer and let you know the day of. If you have never tried one of my on-line classes before, I encourage you to be open minded and check it out!
- Personal Training Early Morning Openings: I currently have 6am on Monday and Thursday mornings available. If you are looking for some one on one help to help you dial in your goals in a more concentrated way, please reach out to me! Let’s talk.
